10 Quotes to Get You Through Boards

Optometry students know March brings more than Spring Break and Daylight Saving Time — it also brings Part I of the National Boards! This is a time when stress is high and sleep is low. If you’re like me, you’re probably running out of highlighter ink and starting to feel overwhelmed. When I took 3rd-year boards, I was so nervous!

I’m a big believer in the power of quotes/positivity to help us focus and maintain a good attitude. During optometry school, I used quotes for inspiration and motivation to keep going when things got tough. Even still, I post quotes to my company Instagram, @FierceClarity, because words and quotes are powerful.

Below, you’ll find 10 Quotes to help you push through this final week. Remember, short-term sacrifice = long-term gain. Your mindset is everything. You’ve made it this far so keep going — You’ve got this!
